Eli at RYLA Camp May 7-10, 2026 Deer Valley Meadows in Alix, AB
Sunrise Rotary Club Sponsors Student for Leadership Camp
The Sunrise Rotary Club proudly sponsored Eli, a high school student from Rimbey, to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) camp held May 7–10, 2026 at Deer Valley Meadows in Alix, Alberta.
Centered around the theme “Igniting Potential and Empowering Change,” the camp brought together students from across the region for four days of leadership development, team-building activities, and personal growth opportunities. Participants were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and develop skills they can bring back to their schools and communities.
Club member Susan K. generously provided transportation for Eli to and from the camp, helping make the experience possible.
The Sunrise Rotary Club looks forward to hearing more about Eli’s experience in the coming months. In the fall, he will join the club via Zoom to share stories, lessons learned, and highlights from his time at RYLA.
The club remains committed to supporting local youth and investing in future community leaders through opportunities like RYLA.
