Nearly There!

The Access For All Barrier-Free Playscape, located at the Mattie McCullough Elementary School in East Red Deer is nearing completion!  This playground is about providing people of all ages and abilities an opportunity to engage in outdoor play.  The benefits of this activity and the interactions that take place are many.  Opportunities for people of all ability to engage result in a more inclusive society; more active people result in a healthier community.

Exciting NEW Developments!

  • The Access For All facility becomes even more inclusive this week as we place an order for an Ability Whirl merry-go-round which allows people to take part whether standing without assistance or in wheel chairs, a truly inclusive and fun piece of equipment. This will be installed in the spring of 2019.
  • Equally exciting, this week Access For All kicks off our Mystery Item fundraiser. Help fund the item to unlock the puzzle & discover what we are buying for the playground. Visit the Access for All website to find out how you can participate! Check back weekly to see how we are progressing and share the link with friends.

You can be part of making it happen! When the puzzle is built, we will buy the item!
