Sorry, the speaker cancelled on this event. We are hoping to have another date soon.

Are you interested in learning more about travelling to warmer climates in the winter months but don't know where to start or what the 'rules' are? Read on...

We have been invited to join the Rotary Club EAST at their lunch meeting to listen to special speaker Bud Conroy, CSA Director for Western Canada.

The Canadian Snowbird Association (CSA) is a registered not-for-profit organization recognized as the voice of travelling Canadians.  The association has approximately 115,000 members, most of whom are seniors interested in travelling to warmer climates in the winter months.  The CSA was started primarily as a lobby organization pursuing legislative changes with governments in Canada and the United States, both federal and provincial/state, on issues of importance to Canadian travellers.  Over the years they have enjoyed successes on a variety of topics including health related topics, drivers licence issues, visa issues and many others.  The association is able to influence various legislators due to the fact that we represent the voices of a substantial number of Canadian voters from all jurisdictions across the country.  In addition to our various government lobbying efforts we also provide an array of communications to our members through a quarterly magazine and frequent email “blasts” whenever there is a new issue or change that may impact our members.  We also operate a very cost effective currency exchange program that many of our members enjoy, and maintain a relationship with a sister organization called MediPac Travel Insurance that provides travel health insurance to many of our members.

Attendees can order lunch off of the menu upon arrival.
