Changing Lives, Changing Communities Inclusion Alberta is hosting a virtual live fundraiser breakfast event You will experience an inspiring program where you will get to hear stories from families whose lives are impacted by the work at Inclusion Alberta. There is no cost to this breakfast fundraiser. It runs on the Benevon fundraising model so there is no cost to attend but there is an "ask" at the end, but no obligation to give. There are no tickets but RSVP's are important so that they ensure they have enough seats. If you register through ClubRunner we will confirm the attendance with Gina. This event will replace our Sunrise Rotary ZOOM meeting Inclusion Alberta provides much-needed support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families now and in the future. “Your presence here today sustains our hope, nourishes families and their family members with intellectual disabilities, and reminds them they are not alone in their desire for acceptance and belonging. You are testimony to the fact they don’t stand alone, that they do count.” -Trish Bowman, Inclusion Alberta CEO |

Dec. 17, 2025 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Let's celebrate the holidays with a Christmas holiday morning coffee party (Dec. 17) where we will have a social time and assemble the Youth HQ Gift bags. The Rotary Club of Red Deer Sunrise is working with Youth HQ again this year to bring a touch of Christmas cheer to vulnerable teenagers in our community. Youth HQ needs 50 gift bags; 25 for gals and 25 for guys. Please help reach the target of 50 bags if you can. There are two ways to help: 1. Compile the bags yourself. Each bag to contain: Pair of mitts/gloves, toque, neck-warmer/scarf, pair of socks, shower gel/shampoo, lip balm, deodorant, healthy treat like a pack of granola bars, a Christmas treat and a Christmas card signed by you. Please put supplies in a 10” X 13” gift bag. Our Rotary elves will add toothbrush, tooth paste and floss plus a Tim Horton’s gift card. Bring your completed gift bag(s) to our Dec 17 Meeting aka the Elves' Meeting at Sunnybrook Farm. If you can't make the meeting to bring your completed bags, Judy-Ann has offered that they can be dropped off at Casa Gouda or she could come pick them up. OR 2. Donate and we will do the shopping. With careful shopping we can do a bag for $25.00. E-transfer funds to rotarysunrise@shaw.ca before December 10, 2025. Thank you for making a difference in a teenager’s Christmas! |

50/50 Ticket Sellers needed for February 7, 2026
This year we are once again using the WIN50 system:
· We will once again be selling tickets on-line and in-venue.
· There are hand held units. Each unit can take credit/debit cards. The printer is incorporated into the new handheld units.
· The winner draw will be done at the Marchant Crane Centrium after the game. 2 witnesses are required. The winner is posted online only. No announcement in venue.
As per our 5050 license, no alcohol to be consumed during selling of 5050 tickets. However, many Rotarians enjoy fellowship and meet in the lounge after the sale of 5050 has completed.
I just wanted to send out a few reminders to the Sellers, Captains and Bankers along with some of AGLC's Raffle Terms and Conditions pertaining to ticket sales and the WIN 50 system.
